The obverse
On the front side of the coin, Solveig, depicted as the Sun goddess, is accompanied by a fierce and bold bear. The Valkyrie herself brandishes an axe, adorned in leather garments and iron accessories, including epaulettes and bracelets. Notably, she bears the Rune of Sowilo, symbolizing warmth and vitality, allowing her to rise anew in glorious splendor.
The reverse
Turning to the reverse side, the design features Germania Mint’s iconic double-headed eagle alongside the goddess’s companion, the bear. The shield, incorporating details such as the year of release, metal composition, and denomination, is embellished with Germanic runes, adding a touch of authenticity and historical significance.

Representing the third installment in the 2024 Valkyries collection, Solveig embodies the essence of the Germanic goddesses, daughters of Odin. According to ancient Germanic mythology, these valiant beings supported the bravest warriors who perished in battle. Solveig, in particular, symbolizes the rejuvenation of summer, ushering in a fresh start and new beginnings.
The coin is issued in a mintage of 999 pieces with a Certificate of Authenticity. It is placed in a lens capsule and in a special blister pack.
